Just Czech-ing in!

All aboard!

Bright and early on Wednesday we took a seven-hour train from Budapest to Prague, passing through Slovakia on our way. We've enjoyed beautifully cool weather and lots of coffeeshops as we've walked about 427 miles over the last few days. (Okay, maybe not quite that far, but close.)

Favorite highlights so far...

Kate: The beautiful old architecture and cobblestone streets.

Chris: The Charles Bridge at night, listening to the violinist.

Kari: The entire city is beautiful and each building is unique. It's not like there's just one section of town that's amazing - every corner you turn is another beautiful wide street...and we've turned a lot of corners!

Jonathan: History. (Asked by his lovely wife to be a bit more specific) The library at Strahov monastery with the rooms full of ancient books, globes, maps and illuminated manuscripts.

Cile: I enjoyed just walking through the Old Town.

Glenn: The most breath-taking for me was after walking around the Prague Castle for a while, we actually got to the Castle. The grounds just kept going and going. Oh, and being with the family.

We've got one more day in Prague before heading to Vienna. I've heard great things about Vienna, but at this point, it'll take a LOT for it to top Prague in my book!
