On to Vienna! (Borders fam trip, part IV)

Early morning travel can look pretty rough. For this reason, the identities of the travelers on this train from Prague to Vienna have been hidden to protect the innocent.

Our adventures in Vienna didn't start with a bang so much as a yell. We were on a subway (headed the wrong direction) when we heard some commotion and yelling, then saw that the polizei had apprehended a pickpocket.

A mere few hours, couple of bad directions and long circular walks later, we were at the apartment. I wish, oh how I wish, we'd taken some pictures of it. I think at the time we didn't particularly want to immortalize it in photographs. Let me just say this: The apartment in Prague was beautiful and really perfect for us. But the apartment in Vienna is the one we'll remember and talk about for many years. "Remember that time in Vienna when Kari didn't want to sleep on the sheets?" or "Remember that place we stayed where the entrance hallway smelled like dog poop?"

Hmmm...which way on the metro?

Keep going. It might be around the next curve...

Or maybe another metro ride?
